SHELTON RESIDENCE EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS
The Shelton residence was originally built in the 1990s, and the exterior shows this with stucco facades complete with faux stone, wood siding, white wood trim windows, and heavy stucco trim around the windows and doors.
In addition to giving the exterior facades a contemporary facelift, the client has requested we add a front porch to create a more distinctive point of entry, as well as replace the deck on the back of the house with space for entertainment, cooking, and lounging. Trellises throughout the outdoor spaces provide both privacy from neighboring properties and add a personal touch for one of the clients, the self-proclaimed “vine-grower.” A kitchen redesign completes the project, improving circulation and making more efficient use of interior public space.
