NEWPORT ADDITION + REMODEL

Interior remodel and addition for a young family of four in Denver, CO.

The project brings natural light into existing spaces and utilizes built-ins and additional sound insulation to provide multiple opportunities for refuge, focus, and creative work, of special importance for a child on the autism spectrum. The remodel features a new mudroom with direct access to the garage, foyer, and kitchen and finishes the basement with a family room, game room, and laundry room.

A 231 SF addition maintains the existing scale of the residence while providing access to the backyard through the master bedroom. The new master bathroom features a wet space with soaking tub and shower in an efficient footprint.
